you probably don't have enough credit.
go get a card from sears or somewhere that you don't shop ALL the time and purchase some things then pay them off immediately.

after a few months or a year you will have enough credit built up to get a major credit card so you can add to the state of this country.

I have three credit cards--recently closed out two others, as I never used them. I really only use one of my cards, and use it constantly so I do not have to fool with carrying money. I can pay everything off in one check when my bill comes due. And, I did say ''pay it off''.

I do have perfect credit, and get offers for cards all the time. But, I must admit, 30 years ago, being a recently divorced woman, I could not get a credit card. My boss lied for me and said I made 3 times what I did, to get me one.

But, with so many women working now, and having their own money-I do not think it is this way now. Apply for a Visa or MasterCard and use it---making sure you pay your bill off when it comes. Later, you will have no trouble getting credit cards.

Merchants actually have raised prices on goods and services substansially because people keep using plastic. Everytime they swipe a card the credit card company charges between 3-13% for the use of the card. As for acceptance, try visa or mastercard.

It's easy to get a credit card if you have good credit. Individual stores don't give credit out to everyone, they actually want their money to be paid and not have the card go to collections.

I think you mean approved for credit??

Really, its not - card companies make a fortune off people who make late payments, etc. And, if you have pisspoor credit, you can get a debit card from your bank with a Visa logo, so you can shop at those establishments....
