I want to get a wireless keyboard and wireless mouse for my boyfriend. I need it to use the USB drive... I am thinking about getting the Logitech LX300 Cordless Desktop Keyboard and Optical Mouse Combo from tigerdirect.com (I have bought a couple different things from this website and was pleased with it)
Is this a good choice? Do you have any other suggestions on which one i should buy? What brand? What websites?

its a good popular one. bluetooth will give you an extended range is all.
No biggie, since how far are you really wanting to get from your computer anyways, right

Wireless keyboard and mouse is great, and I love it because I don't have to work around a cable anymore. Sometimes when you're at a distance, there's going to be an interference and the receiver won't be able to receive your input. But this is at a distance of more than 3 feet/1m from the receiver so I don't think it's gonna be any problem for a lot of people. The battery will lasts long for a wireless keyboard. It'll take at least two months or three until a wireless keyboard runs out of battery power. You're going to need to charge your mouse for at least once a week, however. But it's OK since some mouse accepts AA batteries and you can use a pair of batteries in your mouse while charging another pair externally.

I love the Logitech MX5000... Blue tooth enable via USB port... Mouse is rechargeable and the keyboard does need batteries but the batteries last a very long time....

i've had the best experience with this one. it's bluetooth, comes with the adapter that plugs into usb. it gets awesome range, i can sit at least 15 feet away from my computer (hooked up to a lcd tv) and still have no problems. typical wireless gives you about 3ft range.
