let me add, he's the cheater and the house is in both our names. i think he should have to leave and make the mortgage payment! what do u think?

If a man cheats then he should be sacrificed to the great love Goddess. He should be beaten with a horse-hair whip, thrown into a dungeon filled with venomous snakes and branded with a huge X on the tip of his "tool".
After that I'm sure that he would want to move VERY FAR AWAY.
I just read your add-on. I think you're right. He should have to move away and pay the mortgage for you. That would probably change after the two of you divorced-- if it came to that, but he should be forced to suffer financially as you have suffered emotionally.

No judge will make him move out and still pay the mortgage. If you want the house you better be able to pay for it and everything else that comes with it (utilities) The judge however may make him pay for everything while the divorce is in progress. Good Luck

he should move out! but...make your own payments b/c obviously you can't depend on his word as truth if he says he will pay it. OR you move out, call the mortgage company and give them a heads up. file for a divorce immediately so you don't get screwed financially. most states, if a married couple owns a house, the couple will sale in order to eliminate any bs. i would move out.....no i wouldn't, why am i lying. good luck.

I suppose it would depend on who had legal rights to said residence. Women are always looking for the angle but the man should always man up and either move or help with the woman to move. Let the courts settle the other stuff.

I do think he should move out he made the marriage fall apart by cheating. The house and everything would be settled in court if you filed right away. I would not leave if i was you you did nothing wrong. good luck

I really think it depends on who owns the house or apartment or whatever you live in... now if yall share and both pay bills and rent and whatnot then I think the cheater.
