I agree with other answers. It's going back 25+ years but when I was pregnant and went to the doctors the test came back negative - and it wasnt done as early as they are these days. We had to wait till we missed 2 periods i think. So I had an operation to clean out the womb (D&C) - I then didnt have sex for a while (too sore etc). Once bleeding etc stopped from operation i didnt have a period and then had positive test. Told to expect baby in April - then scans said Febraury. She was born mid march (2 weeks late). Doing the sums and knowing how long I hadnt had sex I concluded that I'd been pregnant when the test said negative and had had the operation. I think the fetus must have been up a tube or the doctor didnt do a very thorogh job (thank God). She's my little miracle.
So relax and put your trust God - not that I was into that sort of thing then but I know to trust him now.

yes the tests can be wrong, all you can do is wait for your doc to re-test! sorry, just chill out and try hard not to think about it although i know it will be eating away at you! It could still turn out that your not pregnant though so try not to get your hopes up too much! Good luck anyway and i hope you get the results you wanted! :)

there is a slim possibilty that the doc. test is wrong but if the doc. say wait another week that is because the levels in your blood can be more stable and it can be even more easy to determine pregnacy sometimes if you are pregnant you want always feel symptoms the home test of coarse can be wrong
