I’m 25-year-old male, and my not-so-secret-Santa already told me she got me my present. But that’s easy, she’s my cubicle neighbor. I have to buy a present for someone who works in another department, who works the night shift, and who I’ve only seen once one time I got very very early. I think I’m going to actually talk to her for the first time on the Christmas party. All I know is that she’s 33, she has a boy, and she’s not married.

Any ideas?

This probably won't get best answer, but it is true and what I think. You should feel guilty. What if your wife did the same thing, how would you really feel? There had to be a reason you and your ex broke up. Remember the vows with your wife, in front of friends, family and God. Commitment, sickness, health, better or worse, until death do you part. Passion, big deal, that is only sexual and that is not what marriage is all about, think that through. What if you couldn't even preform? And that happens often. If you decide to divorce your wife you will Carry the guilt with you and face the financial situations and the disrespect of the children down the road. You are being selfish, think of your wife, you are suppose to love her as yourself according to the Bible.......xx

Simplicity is best! Go for a gift card, check out your local mall and see if they have provided gift cards at the customer service desk that would be accepted at all of the stores in your mall.

Another option is if you know her son is very young, you could get them something they could do together. Maybe two holiday mugs, two packs of hot chocolate, two candy canes and a zip lock bag of marshmallows. Using a word document you could type up a little recipe to stick in the mugs. Labeling it Snowman Warmers. Make Hot Chocolate as directed on packet. Add marshmallows and stir with Frosty's cane! Enjoy! Maybe put a cute clip art of a snowman on it. That was just an idea though. On your card you could write , warm holiday wishes for you and your son.

If that's too personal for your taste, the gift card thing is always much appreciated and will not go to waste. Plus it would be valid anywhere, especially since you don't know where she shops most or if she dislikes any of the stores there.

What about a nice gift basket with some meats, cheeses, fruit, etc in it. That way she can share it with her son. Or an umbrella would be nice, that is always useful. Good luck Merry Christmas

A basket of chocolate - hot chocolate mixes, chocolate kisses, chocolate bars. A box of hot chocolate is currently a $1, so you can really fill it up to look like a lot.

Try and learn some things about her first. If that's not possible, do the gift card thing.
