The typical public American high school is shockingly easy to pass. Depending on the area, you don't even have to know how to read. They'll keep pushing you out. It all really depends on which particular high school you're talking about. A top magnet high school will make a university look easy.

Well, generally you're about 14 your freshman year of high school if you don't skip any grades. I was 13 and turned 14 halfway through the year, because I started school early.

I wouldn't worry about passing high school. It's not hard if you go to class and do your homework. All you need is a C or a C- average, and with grade inflation these days that's not a big deal. In fact, if you put in any kind of real effort and don't drop out, you should be fine.

Some states require a "high school exit exam" or some such thing, but I took one and it was easier than most tests I took in the eighth grade. If you actually try to achieve anything in high school, it won't be a hard test.

But from your question, I'm guessing you're in middle school or even younger. That's pretty young to have anxiety about passing high school. It might seem daunting now, but once you get there you'll be ready for the coursework and everything will work out. Okay?

And even assuming you did SO poorly in high school they wouldn't let you graduate, you could always study for the GED and take it, and get your high school diploma that way. There is always a way to achieve what you want.

Sound good? Good luck with school.
