I'm sure a bunch of people have glass cups( Care Bears, Disney, etc.) from McDonald's and Pizza hut from the 80's... but are they worth any more than the $1 that my family originally paid for them?

yes im sure if you found a collector, there is someone who has an eye for everything so no matter what you have there is someone out there willing to pay money for it. have your parents try e-bay you'd be surprised what they could get for what others may consider to be "useless"

Depends on who you ask. Someone might think they are trash, while someone else might be willing to pay more for them. I think they're kinda cool, myself. Wish I still had mine.
