At Manchester University a student has invented a system that is quite large (about 10cm long) rectangular strip that fits on your head and resonates a signal to a vibrating part of your inner ear.

No wires and works via blue tooth.

As it works in your inner ear nobody can hear what your listening to.

I think this is going to be a massive hit especially when it more developed and smaller.

The applications are many especially for the police, army or security services etc.

OK, I'll take this as a serious question. You can buy little vibrating thingys that you can stick on cupboard doors or other hollow objects (---blank---), which in turn, amplify the vibrations. and so, portable speakers you can carry on holiday with you.

Screwdriver?
Lightbulb?
Kleenex?

What do you want the device to do? Once you know that then you can look at alternative methods of accomplishing that goal.
