My best friends and I have known each other since 4th grade. We met a group of guys in college. 3 of us hooked up with their 3 friends. But there's this one who none of us has been with And he's been nothing but a platonic friend to all of us for the last 5 years. Ijust recently started liking him but I found out of my other friends has been like secretly in love with him for the last 5 years. He likes me too and not our other friend(ina sexual way) . He was to maintain their friendship. What should I do ? I dont want to hurt her but I'm really into this guy.

You need to talk to your friend and basically tell her what you just said here. If it doesn't work your going to have to make a choice who is more important to you this guy or your friend. Good Luck to you..

Hey all i can say is it depends on how much you value the friendship between all of you. Once you start dating this guy im pretty sure your friend is gonna get pissed or jealous. she may not say it out loud but i promise it will be a problem. the question here is HOW MUCH DO YOU VALUE THE FRIENDSHIP. If he likes you and you like him, let nature take its course dont push anything just let the peices fall into place. Dont put life on hold 4 this person though just keep doing what ya been doing, keep dating, all of you keep going out as friends. remember let nature take its course, if it is meant to be then it will happen

this is a tough one. you need to proceed with caution. i was in a similar situation once. all you need to do is decide who's more important: the girl friend or the guy friend. if you choose him will it ruin the friendship with all the girls? if you choose her will it ruin the friendship with him? if you choose him will it even last? talk with him about it. talk with her about it. i know that's easier said than done but it will work. you'll survive and everything will be ok. just ask both of them what would happen if you went out with him. my best friend and i both liked a guy we had been friends with for 2 years. she was shy and he didn't know she liked him and i made it obvious that i liked him. i knew if i went for him it would last but she would be really pissed. so i told him it was up to him. he choose me and we've been together for 2 years now. my best friend and i didn't really talk for a few months cuz it was hard for her to see me and him together. i never regretted goin out with him tho. eventually my friend saw how happy he and i were together and we're best friends again. in the end it all worked out. i can't say that's how it's gonna be for you tho. maybe i was just one of the lucky ones. maybe you will be too. you just have to ask yourself if it's still gonna be worth it if it doesn't work out between you and him. good luck!!

Well, whatever you decide to do DONT let a guy ruin your friendship with whoever!!! Talk to your friends about how everyone feels about this guy and ask them if they would possibly get mad if you guys dated and let them know you just wanted to make sure they wouldnt get mad because you dont want to loose your best friends because of a guy.

ask ur friend if she would mind she may but if shes a true friend she will deal with it . so in other words if you like him more and he like you then she should just bee happyy to move out of the way and let you and him date and mybe just maybe he and her (as freinds ) they may be come close on a good note and you she just keep her eyes open their is to someone out their for everybody..
