Well, everyone on here will tell you that people are born gay, but I wouldn't believe that nonsence. Being gay is a choice, like choosing whether you like blondes or brunettes.

Therefore, if it is a life choice, it does not deserve equal rights.

I believe that everyone is born predisposed to be straight/gay or bi. some are in denial/suppress those feelings until later in life when they are raised in a family/society that teaches them that such feelings are wrong/evil/immoral, etc. and then some even try to live the straight life until they realize what their true feelings are and that they are just not happy living a lie. to some people, this might be seen as "turning gay" or perhaps choosing to be so. looking back, even though I didn't "come out" to myself until I was 18, I know that I was always attracted to women and never to men.

properly, I evaluate think approximately been experimenting with mind-blowing innovations and relationships, is all. you're saying you're "rather disgusted" on the same time as you think of of the mechanical edge of intercourse with a guy or woman, and which you basically photograph your self getting married, raising babies, and having a familiar existence. so as that's what you're dazzling there. that's the actually you. you will consistently think of disgusted you in all likelihood have an entire blown sexual relationship with a guy because of the reality that that's purely not for you. on your technique to looking out that that may not for you, you had a variety of relationship with a guy. Now, of course, you finally end up observing at adult males and curious approximately way of them. You genuinely should not be involved bearing directly to the excitement you will possibly have from the specific intercourse act with them, as you already mentioned that involved approximately that doesn't provide you any excitement. So as quickly as returned i think that's purely a element of you examining your way interior the sexual international. some issues provide you the outcomes you prefer, some genuinely do not. pass with the failings that artwork and chalk something as much as adventure.

I guess the best that we can come up here in Yahoo answers is really a survey on who thinks they are born gay and those who chose to be gay. The rest you can find decent articles if you google them up. There have been results, but the studies of the "homosexual gene" is in its infancy and is really subject to debate.

As for me, born gay. Attracted to girls since I was 5. Tried to un-gay myself for 11 years through deliverance prayers, bargaining with God, practicing celibacy, beating myself with the thought of fire and brimstone whever I have "gay" thoughts, and burying myself into schoolwork and extra curriculars when I had this overwhelming attraction for a girl.. But guess what, I'm still gay.

So finally, I embraced it. And my self-esteem blossomed, my work ethic changed, my relationship with Jesus blossomed (even if His church still calls this aspect of me, as wrong), and I believe that I was created gay because being gay is not a wrong thing, God finds it as a beautiful thing and he gave it to me as a blessing.

it's a combination of nurture and nature. there has been genetic evidence that men are 30% (i think) more likely to be gay if they have older brothers. But childhood and later life experiences also take a very important part in their psychosexual development.

Scientific studies have shown that homosexuality is biologically determined, therefore people are born gay.

I have never believed the born gay theory. Being gay is a sexual preference. Being straight is a sexual preference. We are not equipped to make these choices at birth, nor do we have them made for us at birth. As we grow older, become more experienced and familiarized with our sexuality, THAT is when we discover what we like or dislike. No one was born gay. Its a subconscious preference.

I would venture to say that MOST people are born that way - it's "sexual orientation" NOT "sexual preference" - Think about it - why would anyone CHOOSE to be the victim of ridicule at almost every turn of his/her life?????

No one is born gay. Gay is a choice people make even though they know it's wrong but they choose to do what they want. I hate when they accuse God by saying he makes them that way.
They shouldn't be discriminated against but we need to tell them the truth even if it hurts them.
