Why do they even ask the f*cking question in the first place.
Basically they don't want the truth. If you go in the Gay section, those people never want to hear the truth.

I'd say it's because they either don't know the truth or don't care. If they don't know, they'll just guess by choosing the answer they'd want to hear; if they don't care, they'll say anything just to be able to say something, even if it has nothing to do with the question. Personally, if I don't know the answer, I either admit to it and give whatever info I can or just skip it and find a question I can answer... but not everyone is me. Anyway, just giving my input on a good question as to what I believe to be the answer (or at least one possible answer).

Because that is Human Nature...and when all said and done that is their choice.
Nobody likes the truth when it hurts.
