Your bank should have copies of the paperwork needed from your old job's direct deposit. That should include some form of stubs.

if you're doing direct deposit, most companies have some form of online payroll website that allows you to access your check stubs. i know that walmart and best buy do. call your personnel office and ask about this. if they send out the paper check stubs to your employer, they are not required to keep them if you don't pick them up.

I've used direct deposit whenever possible and always received a voided or a zero dollar check that showed the deductions and total pay.

These should have been issed to you, if not, the employer (I believe) would be obligated to get you them, if they did and you lost or got rid of them, then they did their part. If they're nice, they may get you copies, but I don't believe they're obligaged to (if they already gave them to you).

With direct deposit, I suggest you contact the bank to see if it will send you copies of deposits.
