There's actually no need. No political system in the entire world is perfect, and having flaws in our system makes us strive to fix them. I almost think having cons/flaws makes democracy work better, as people are always seeking to change it, which is the entire essence of democracy itself!

Can't. The rule of the majority can only last until the people find that they can vote themselves all the cake and wine they can do -off the backs of those that make it. A constitutiuonaly based republic with democratically elected representatives can survive until the constitutionally mandated restraints are re-defined out of existance or otherwise nullified.

The cons i have the most trouble with are corporate funding of politicians and private interest lobbyists. The money disparities in politicians campains ........I used to like car racing until i noticed the one with the most money wins, then it became boring to me, same thing with politicains,,,,the most money = winner,
but in the end it is in the peoples hands to change,,, which i think the average man would rather be safe than free and fear will motivate them to vote for anybody.......someday maybe we can vote from compassion and intelligence.......

Continuously try to improve and become knowledgeable about what the cons are. If you know what the dangers/cons are, you can improve to eliminate/reduce them. Also you can just try to avoid them. Other then that, there are always pros and cons to any system.
