I dreamt I got bit by a tiger last night. Seeing as how I'm not in Africa or at the zoo, it means nothing. Which is probably the same in your case. I wish you luck and marriage if it's what you want, but a dream is just that -- a dream.

:)

Dreams are usually in the language of metaphor, so I would ask what are you considering "marrying"? That is, what commitment might you be thinking about? Or perhaps one was offered to you. It could be a business deal, a job offer, an overture of friendship. Perhaps your unconscious label of "marriage proposal" indicates how serious it is to you. And depending how you feel about marriage, that could be a positive or negative spin.
Emotions in your dreams are the key to meaning. How did you feel in the dream? That will help you figure out if you should accept this "proposal" or not.

You seem to feel very pressured to be married. Perhaps by your mother. The groom having no head suggests that you haven't yet met the man you will marry but you WILL since you see the wedding taking place. Your friend Chris figures prominently in your life, perhaps he is your future partner. I would not be depressed about this dream, I would see it as a glimpse into the future. You will meet your groom and if it isn't Chris perhaps he will be the one to introduce you. Having someone help you decipher your dreams is beneficial but only YOU can determine if their interpretation "feels" right. Do the things I suggest "feel" right? The best way to meet someone is to stop looking. So start enjoying your life. Greet the day with a smile as at any given time you never know when someone will be falling in love with that very smile. Hard to see if you are crying. So look upward and move forward, he will appear when you least expect. Let us know when he does. Good luck. Peace.

From the dream dictionary: http://www.dreammoods.com/dreamdictionary/

Marriage

To see a marriage in your dream, signifies commitment, harmony or transitional period. You are undergoing an important developmental phase in your life. The dream may also represent the unification of formerly separate or opposite aspects of yourself. In particular, it is the union of masculine or feminine aspects of yourself. Consider the qualities and characteristics of the person that you are marrying. These are the qualities that you need to look at incorporating within yourself.

To dream of a proposal of marriage, suggests that some situation will take a turn for the worse.

To dream that you are getting married to your ex, suggests that you have accepted aspects of that relationship and learned from those past mistakes. Alternatively, it means that a current relationship shares some commonality with your previous relationship with your ex. However, you will not make those same mistakes.

As far as I know, it won't happen. Dreams are usually the opposite. But that's my opinion...don't let me discourage your hope if I am.
