What a dumb and insubordanent question that is. Screaming in music holds melody while maintaining a hardcore vibe. Call it whatever you want: Screamo, Mallcore, Post Hardcore.......It still has technical musical value. Why it has value to me?...idk

I like screaming in some songs it really drives the point across. But non stop screaming just gets old after awhile.

Sometimes I do but most of the time I dont... When there is screaming in the song you can abrely here what they are saying and its completely pointless but when I am depressed or sad or in a bad mood I like to listen to hard/rock music.

cause it sounds better than a little whiney asshole who thinks hes so cool "rap" about nonsence oh and those of you who think screming is not singing dani filth has the best voice and I am pretty good with voices an I cant even imatate it and all the cover songs for cradle of filth "thats his band" suck cause they cant screm like him

Because it takes one effed up dude to be able to do it.
You try screamin through 3 minutes (min) of one song and your voice is gone by 20 seconds! It takes a hell of a voice to do it!
