You are off to a good start. High School is traditionally where we prepare students for college. It is your high school grades that determine if a college accepts you. Taking pre algebra will help you excel in math in high school, thereby giving you an advantage in college over other students who will not be as advanced in math.

As soon as you can. Mostly once you hit high school though. You want to start looking in to some of the schools that you are really interested in and looking at what they require you to have in high school. Do they require 3 years of art or 4 years of math or AP courses, or what. THen your sophmore of Junior year start going on visits to the campuses to decide what you like. Begin your SAT stuff in Junior year or the end of sophmore year. Remember, you can take it as much as you want, but too much just wears you down.
