Antidisestablishmentarianism... the longest morphemic construction example in our language.... Establish being the root word.

I also like Catharsis... However it is funny to note that many of my favorite 'english' words have their origin in Greek, Latin and other Mediterranean languages... English steals much.

My favorite example of theft is the word assassin... commonly believed to be a mutation of the Arabic "haššāšīn" (حشّاشين) or Hashshashin.

Did you know that "nice" in Elizabethan times meant that it was "not nice" in todays time? But I digress...
