You better get busy and learn how to do laundry. Women can vote now!

The laundry isn't going anywhere. There will be plenty of time to do it after the movie. She should take a break & go to the movie and then come home to the chores. BTW, if you're home, why don't you do something nice for her and start the laundry yourself. I do that for my wife sometimes and she's always very appreciative. Household chores are for both people to do , not just the woman. You both live in the house, get clothes dirty and mess up dishes....everyone should pitch in...then you have more time to spend together.

Be a helpmate and and friend and wash the cloths yourself or together and then go to the movies together....Women do what was thought of as manly jobs today...they go to work so men need to share the "womanly" jobs.

hello ? she is also a human being. since 21st century, washing is not part of "womanly duty" that is totally a MCP view.

Let her relax if she is a full-time hsewife, n for f sake u could throw in the clothes to wash right ?

sigh, how could the world be equal if such MCPs are still alive

dont be so old fashioned. what do you mean should I let her go? Is it really down to you, does she have to ask your permission? If so you need to get into the real world. really you could help her wash the clothes and it would half the job or she could put the washing on before she goes out and then finishes it when she gets back.

I suggest you do the washing while she goes to the cinema. Marriage in this time and age is 50 50!! She is not your slave, she is your wife!!

Don't make her angry. Angry women can do things to you that you wouldn't even suspect.

I was married to an alcoholic for years. Every time he started one of his "binges" he would complain that he would get a horrible rash.

He was allergic to laundry bleach. HA HA HA--you know the rest of the story (and he always had the whitest socks and underwear at the bar).

First of all there is no such thing as a womanly duty anymore. women do what they want and when they feel like it if you want the laundry done you should probabley do it yourself and give her a break

There is no such thing as womanly duty in this day and age. Tell her "no," I doubt she will give a sh.it. I certainly would not.
