It is secret santa time at our middle school. I am a new teacher to this district. The four topics are something to wear day, toy day, food day and ornament day, however, I do not know my person very well. I want to get her some really great stuff. So, I need suggestions that any woman, teacher would love without her finding out who her secret santa is.

I don't know if you have a price limit, but a few ideas...

Something to wear: A cute bracelet, they normally have the ones with jsut like christmas charms or whatever, or of course christmas/winter socks always work.

Food Day: You could get her a kit for gingerbread house, or bake her cookies, or make microwave fudge and wrap it up in a tin, or one of those gift sets that makes a gingerbread man. They have a cute one at Kohls that is a glass "jar" shaped like a gingerbread man and inside of him is all the stuff you need to make the cookies.

Something to wear is tough, a nice scarf is good as are a pair of gloves. Look at what she normally wears as your guideline. Does she wear pins and jewlery? Toys are fun especially if they are learning toys that she can use in class. Go to a teachers store and look there. Puzzles are good etc. Food and ornaments speak for themselves.

Wear Day: A warm scarf or mittens or ear muffs.

Toy Day: Comic Book (I loved Archie) or Bubbles (with the wand) or Slinky (I love the brightly colored plastic ones) or those small travel sized versions of the games we played as kids.

Food Day: Chocolate (Duh!)

Ornament Day: Hallmark -- love the Snoopy ones!

The best present ever is something someone would like, but would never buy for themselves...

I would say a gift card from Wal-Mart would be appreciated. Congrats, on becoming an educator. You have an important job. Good luck.
