guys are intimidated by a girl who knows sports? my dad raised me on sports (think he wanted a son :) ) and I know alot...but if I let a guy know that, they freak out or get weirded out that I can keep up in the conversation...is it "man" territory?

in general... it's our need to feel superior.
(not all guys are intimidated by women like yourself, one of my closest female friends knows as much or more about the game that we'll go to together)... I'm not intimidated by it at all, as we balance out and don't treat one another like an idiot should we need to update the other with information.

im not intimidated by a gurl who knows sports. i wish i had a girl who like sports. but i think some guys think sports should be for guys. but there are alot of great femal athlets.

H ell no!! I think its f ucking hott when i girl knows her sports! I hate explaining the s hit to stupid girls! (they never get it, so i give up) But maybe thats just me. I look for a girl that i can have fun with (be friends as well as lovers), and I love sports! Ur best bet is to find a sports fanatic. Goodluck!

I didn't know about this. My husband is actually disappointed I don't care about sports. Now that we're married he wants to share an interest in sports, but I can't get interested.

Hey Sd,,, after playing high school and college football,, I just wish that I had a gf like you to go to the games with and or just watch it on tv...

i wouldn't be, i think it would be exciting to have a friend keep up with me.And i think it is so sexy to see women excercise in different manners.
