Pepto is safe. But try weak tea and crackers-worked for me. I lived on it for almost 3 months.

I took Pepto... just not every day. If it's that bad, you should consider trying something more natural. I would drink warm tea in the mornings to settle my tummy. Also, I took my vitamins at night so it wouldn't make me sick and that helped a lot.
Even some sugar - I liked twizzlers or gumdrops seemed to help my stomach feel better in the morning.
hope this helps!

Nothing will make the morning sickness go away until you have the baby. The pepto is probably not the best thing to use. You may want to phone the doctor and ask them but I found that ginger candle burned during the day was the best thing for me. Good Luck and thank God this is something that will go away after the baby is born.

I am having bad morning sickness, i am 14 weeks. My doc finally put me on Zofran, they can also give you Phenagran but that makes you extremly tired, and if you are like me and have to work or have another little one at home it is kinda hard to sleep all the time. Ask your doctor, if those dont work then ask your doctor for what they call a B1 or a B6 shot, it stops nausea and vomitting. I havent gained any weight because i have been so sick and i cant eat that much. Good Luck!!!

always talk to your doc before trying any meds, even over the counter. Some things are ok to take during different trimesters of your pregnancy.
I've had BAD morning sickness to, and the best thing they say to do is munch on some salty crackers before you even get out of bed in the morning. it really helps. also eat smaller frequent meals throughout the day to avoid nausea.
if that doesnt work your doc should be able to prescribe you some promethazine or phenergran (anti nausea pill)
ooh, peppermints work great too!

I think to be compleatly safe you should call the doctors office. Some doctors say its safe some says its not. It really depends on your doctor. They do have something that you can pick up from a pharmacy for morning sickness. But in most cases morning sickness goes away by the second trimester. good luck!

If your morning sickness is really bad like mine was I had hyperemessis with both of my chlidren all 9 mos. There is a pill they can give you actually there are many differant type of Rx you can get if it's that bad...like yor losing weight you can't keep anything down and I mean ANYTHING for more than24 hours. YOu may need to be put in the hospital like i was many times during both of my pregnancies...but you cna also try to take a sleep aid and a vit B6 pill thats supposed to help.. try taking just little sips of room temp water or club soda..not cold it can upset your stomach more.

You CAN take pepto, if you can get past the taste....YUK..
But you can also drink Ginger ale, and that WILL settle your stomach..However, give yourself a few weeks/months and the morning sickness will dissipate on its own.

The only thing that worked for me was saltine crackers. I would put a few right beside the bed, and as soon as I woke up I would try to eat one or two without moving much. Good Luck
