1. The kind of car wash that you want to use any ime of year is a touchless car wash. They use pressurized water to clean your car instead of pads. The advantage to this is those pads might be dirty and could scratch your cars paint. It is very reliable in winter because the longer you keep salt on your car the more time it has to eat away at your paint and to cause rust.
2. The only thing that could happen if it doesnt dry completely is ice. Not really a problem anywhere on the car except in the locks and windows. It will cause you to not be able to unlock you car and not be able to roll down the windows.
3. It is always seful to wax a car for the fact that you are adding an extra layer of protection to the paint of your car.
4. Any place like Ziebarts can help you put an undercoating on your car and yes it is very helpful.

Winter car wash - what to look for?

1.Are those automatic car wash reliable in Winter? All these do is scratch the paint on your car. If you can't wash it yourself, then go to a softcloth hand carwash!

2. What happens if it doesn't dry the car completely? Your doors and locks will freeze. On the other hand, if you go to softcloth car wash, they will usually use blowers to ry your car.

3. Is it useful to wax the car? Always! It makes removing bird droppings or tree sap off you car a lot easier!

4. I was also told to use a spray (some form of rubber coating) on the muffler. Please let me know the name of this product. I never heard of this, but I can't imagine coating a muffler with rubber will work, besides, when mufflers do rust, it's usually from the inside out
