had a bad head cold last week, now my right ear is so clogged I can not hear out of it and no amount of pressure will open it up. Can anyone tell me how to unclog it... remember its NOT EAR WAX BUILDUP

Sorry you have to wait it out until the eustachian tubes relax & drain. I get this too & it's miserable.
Hope you feel better.

Try one of these beeswax candles from the health food store, be sure to have someone blow into it slightly to get a bit of warm smoke into the ear canal to help loosen the clog. You might try a hair dryer at far range instead (be careful not to light yer-self of fire but then again that would eventually loosen any clog). It sounds like you ruptured your eardrum though, but never fear, I think it grows back after a week or so anyways(better ask a Doc on that one). Another idea is a couple drops of peroxide, or a mix of 1 oz. vinegar and 1 tsp. alcohol but Not the mix "and" the peroxide at same time. Next time try an ear wax removal kit 1st! Only use Q-tips for drying the outer ear canal, not dig for gold.

If it were me, I would take Echinacea in a liquid extract. It has a mild antihistamine & decongestant effect, plus boosts the immune system.

Purchase an extract made from the ROOT of either E. Purpurea or E. Angustifolia. Take four droppers full (about 3cc) and repeat in one hour, then take 1-2 droppers every four hours until your symptoms subside. Make take a week or two. If it doesn't get better, or symptoms worsen, consult your health care giver.

Other herbal decongestants are MULLEIN, Elderflowers and Lobelia. A good formula might contain these, plus Wild Cherry Bark, Licorice & Ginger. Ear drops of Mullein oil is helpful.

You probably have fluid on your ear. DO NOT PUT PRESSURE ON IT TO TRY AND CLEAR IT! You should see a doctor because you may have a secondary ear infection. Usually the fluid will drain off on its own.
