what is friendship?

My male friend has a gf who is away over xmas and new year She knows I exist but hasnt met me yet I was going to visit him on the 23rd to exchange presents and then come back on new years eve and stay over night Just a week ago he agreed that was ok Now he says it will look suspicious me seeing him twice in a week I wont have seen him for a month by xmas and these vivits are for giving presents etc Do u think that 2 visits , one just b4 xmas to give presents and one at new year are MORE than friendship as thats what he says He says friends wouldnt see each other that much I probably wont see him for a month after new year I generally see him once a month I am also upset that he is breaking his word and changing plans he made just a week ago I know his gf hasnt asked him to do this

Maybe there has been a shift in your friendship.
You shouldn't be making demands of one another... for specifics..
He is involved with someone and even if she isn't there for the holidays. maybe he is not comfortable with spending his time with you.
He could have other motives or plans and they don't include you.
You need to step back. quit pushing and re-evaluate this friendship.
Perhaps it is time to let go.. This is what I see.
