I'm a little confused and a teeny bit embarrassed that I have to ask this... I haven't had a period since September now, and I'm usually bang on 8th of each month. I haven't had sex since my last period, so there's no way I can be pregnant (can i?!). Nothing has changed in my world, I'm not under any stress and life's generally good. How long should I leave it before I go to the doctors? Any advice will be greatly appreciated...

I came off my birth-control pill in January and since then, my periods have been as regular as clockwork. I haven't changed my diet or exercise regime and I'm one of the most care-free and laid-back people I know! So why haven't I come on for 2 months? Pregnancy test done last month, but was negative...

I'm only 22, so hopefully, not the menopause just yet...

Have you started exercising, changed your diet etc. Has anything changed in your life, even just a little that it's unnoticable. A slight change in anything can throw your period off but rarely this long. I'd check with your docotr.

I recommend going to the doctor. I've heard that some women may experience some spotting during a pregnancy that appears to be a normal period and they can go for a long time without realizing that they are pregnant. Either go straight to the doctor and they'll do a pregnancy test and check all the rest out, or you can do the pregnancy test at home beforehand, even then, you should still see a doctor either way.

I'd go to the doc now if I were you. You could be pregnant and not have any signs. My friend got pregnant and was never sick and she actually lost like 5 pounds during the first 2 months. or maybe just do a home pregnancy test first before going to the doctor. No one has to know you took a pregnancy test.

Something has changed because you are not menstruating. Do you use birth control? If so, what type? Some of the birth control methods like depo can cause you to stop menstruating. You should see your doctor just to make sure you are ok.

Good luck!

Buy a pregnancy test and see what the results are. If they are negative you need to go to a doctor and find out what happened.

Good Luck

Changes in lifestyle definately affect periods but you may want to look into getting a pregnancy test.

If you've gotten really athletic this month, that may have changed it too.

Goodluck!

Go get an early pregnacy test from a pharmacy and test. If you are not pregnant you need to see a Dr. right away. It could be serious. My guess is you are pregnant
