nope, tho my mate has a US Wii working here. Don't know if its any easier to get a Wii from states than euro, i preordered mine tho and ain't sellin it even for £1000
You should look at the rest of europe- they are all the same- look at germany places like that- then select english language and ur good to go!

Yes it will as the Aussie are also PAL!
(Animal crossing on gamecube anyone???)
You may need a plug adaptor tho. I am currently using a US one.

You might need to buy a power plug converter.
I'm not sure if they have different voltage standards.
Other than that--- It should work.
They are region-free.
