We're having an Ugly Sweater Christmas party for friends and need some ideas for some fun group games and things to play (not drinking games) This is for about 50 people from about 21-30. Thanks!

If you search for bowtie christmas party games on google or yahoo you should get to a bowtieproducts site that will give you 4 new original games that will help make your nite fun.

For parties like this they work because they give folks something to do while they get warmed up to each other. if they want to talk, they can talk, but if conversation lags games like these take up the awkward silences that many of us dread.

Several of these games have people start singing the songs to get to the answers and that is always a good thing.

Whats nice is that people don't all have to be in it to enjoy it. Some can just help out if asked or enjoy the groaning at the answers.

If links work in the answer blocks here's the link

there is also some party giving advice you may enjoy.

My wife and I made up the puzzles and many people really enjoy them.

I hope they work out well for you

You could put a new twist on an old game. Instead of having people run with water in a teaspoon to fill up a bowl, you could have a tiny bulb on the spoon. (I suggest a foam one) Pin the present on Santa. Have everyone help make Wassail. Go Caroling in your building or an old folks home. See who can make the most unique Christmas card with Christmas objects you have already cut out of magazines and simple household items. Play hide an seek with your Christmas presents that you are exchanging. make groups and tell the 1st person a Christmas word and see if it is the same at the end of the line. Use your old party ideas and put a Christmas twist to them. Good luck.

First, no booze. once you're youngsters you could not be ingesting besides. the only time alcohol makes a celebration greater helpful is that if the celebration sucks to start with... so purely have relaxing including your friends and that's going to be all good. 2d, do a modern-day replace like so: all of us wraps a clean/correct used present and brings it to the celebration. not something rather costly. Get like numbers or raffle tickets or some thing for human beings to have, and then draw the corresponding ones out of the hat. So say #12 is drawn first, #12 chooses a modern-day and unwraps it. Then #9. #9 can the two elect a clean, wrapped present, or take #12's unwrapped present. So say #9 take's #12's unwrapped present... then #12 gets to pass elect and unwrap yet another present. Then #5 is drawn, and #5 chooses to get a clean, wrapped present. It sounds complicated whether that is surely relaxing (as long as no person is purely too possesive.) Apples to Apples is often a calming interest to play. (If this may well be a laid back celebration with close acquaintances then that's suited. yet once you're with human beings you do not understand so properly, that is not consistently as relaxing.) Have the celebration be Christmas themed, definately.

Why not revisit your childhoods and play some childrens' party games? Musical chairs, pass the parcel, etc. Why should kids have all the fun? I bet its years since any of you did any of the above and playing all the old favourites is a good laugh.

Alternatively, why not play Pictionary? It's a good game to play in teams as long as you can get hold of a decent sized white board so that everyone can see what is being drawn.

Have fun!
