Soap are supossed to be real life dramas, how come then no one EVER just has a night in, in front of the telly.

AND

How come no one EVER says "back in a mo, just gonna nip to the loo"

It makes you wonder............

Of course it would be boring but just once in a while it would be nice to have a bit of normality in an other wise truamatic life.

You NEVER see Pauline in Tesco.

To be honest with you, I don't think I have ever said in my life "back in a mo, just gonna nip to the loo", and I have never had a night in, in front of the telly, so maybe I am in a soap - I must be a soap star - fantastic

Oh dear now you have upset me. I thought they were true stories. You mean that Frankie isn't really in love with Jamie. Now I will stop watching them. They never break wind either but then they never seem to eat anything. The other question is why do so many people deny watching soaps when the do. Some sort of snobbery.
Have a happy Christmas.

Ahaaa, how sad am I. Bobbie, Ian's son asked to go to the loo the other day when Ian was spying on Jane in the park!

And, Pauline and Martin had a nice night in with the telly the other week when he was trying to tell her about Sonia, but she wouldn't listen cos she wanted " a nice quiet night in with the telly with my son and i don't want you to spoil it talking about her".

And ANF ages ago on corrie, Kirky asked the undertaker (Rod Hull) if corpses farted. I nearly choked on me dinner at that one.

Note to self, really must get out more.

That would make it interesting, god i could come up with lists of why's and how come's about the soap/real life thing: why does no-one ever eat breakfast in their own house they always venture to the closest cafe and instead of stocking up on food on a 'big' shop they have to buy a new pint of milk every episode, and.... Stupidity !!

And why are all the poor people sporting beautifully manicured nails, and why can they afford to go the pub, AND why and how can they afford the laundrette?! If they stayed in they could afford a washing machine and put poor old Pauline out of business!! Lol

Ms. Cryllie can only suppose that there is no drama in such mundane, everyday activities; furthermore, there is no market for such, and advertisers would therefore not countenance such programming.

Ms Cryllie hopes you do, however, enjoy the dramas regardless of these shortcomings, and wishes you a very happy holiday season.

Yes and you never hear anyone pass wind and how come they always spend so much time in the pub and why on eastenders does no one have a washing machine of their own, everyone gets a taxi and few have cars of their own.

I reckon that house prices on soaps will be dirt cheap, as no one will want to buy them in case their partner has an affair, dies etc or their whole life falls apart! I know i wouldn't!

I always wondered why nobody has a "normal" job. I mean, they expect us to believe that everyone is a doctor, lawyer, cop or business mogul. Don't they ever just flip burgers or sell cars?
