What the heck is wrong with my Folder Options icon?

It just disappeared. when I found it, I tried to just view some hidden files I have, but it did not work. what shall I do?

I'm not sure what you're referring to as "Folder Options", but you can access Windows XP "Folder Options" by visiting Tools > Folder Options in any Explorer window. Try that!

Right-click and select 'view hidden files.'
