you don't. They have the blocking in place for a reason. to keep you off their computers and not doing school related work. If they have blocking on, I am sure they are also tracking your internet usage and they know if you are getting around the blocks they have in place.
Is spending 10 minutes on myspace worth getting kicked out of school for? Wait until you get home to go on it.

Sorry, kid, there's no way around it.
I know how u feel, cuz my highschool did the same thing on a couple of game sites (myspace wasn't as widespread back then). It sucked cuz we didn't have anything to do during free time, and it made it even worse that i didn't have a computer at home...but u have 2 learn 2 deal with it.
If u don't have a computer at home, u can always go to the library on the weekends, or maybe afterschool on weekdays, if u reside near one. They usually don't have blocks like that up on their computers.

Simple. Set up a computer (doesn't have to be a fast one !!!) at home, install Ubuntu Linux with ssh. Bring a program called Putty to school on a flash drive. It's a very small program, and doesn't mess with the computer's settings. Now put Portable Firefox on that flash drive as well. Configure putty to use tunneling on an inconspicuous port (such as 443,) and login to your home computer. Now configure firefox to use localhost as a proxy with the port you setup in putty. Go to http://www.ipchicken.com and if you see your home IP address, you win the internets!
Google the howtos. I'm lazy.

The only way past a "filtering" program is to have your user permissions adjusted to allow you past. So if your request is "genuine" you can ask the system administrator, who can provide you access to whatever you need. Otherwise, I'm afraid you're stuck with it!
