I haven't heard if this is a current news item, it's shameful and disgusting if this has happened. Granted, I wouldn't be shocked, but I'd be outraged!
No one deserves to be raped, gay or straight. I have a suspision that if this has occured the reason is because the cops think that the girl being a lesbian meant she deserved to be raped, which would simply be worthy of outrage!

That is infuriating. Rape is about the abuse of power. Imposing on and subduing another person sexually just because you can.. Think "Disclosure" with Demi Moore...
The lesbian girl is probably raped by someone stronger physically (or otherwise), so whether she was raped by a man or a woman as long as there was "force" involved and the lack of consent... the rapist has to pay.
Life imprisonment...

Rape is rape regardless of who the victim is. It is one of the most vile ways to degrade another human.
For the person who did it, nothing short of public castration without anesthesia is good enough. For those that did not investigate and prosecute, they should enjoy the same fate...chop chop.
