Save your $$$$$$$$$$$

I tried them both back in my twenties and they are worthless crap.

They barely had the slightest effect in slowing down rate of my hair loss on scalp. the genes for baldness are not overcome by either of these 2 drugs.

future guys will have stem-cell therapies and REALLY EFFECTIVE remedies - but for now -these drugs are quackery andthey fail to reverse or prevent genetically programmed baldness.

genetic diseases require genetic solutions.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Propecia/Proscar are drugs and as such may have side effects. Use the links below for further information. There are also natural hair loss treatments available like Nisim's New Hair Biofactors range.

Would you rather be bald?

Maybe you can see if you can get the stuff cheaper from a Canada pharmacy - it is fully legal now.

There are lots of Canadian pharmacies on line this one has 28 days of Propecia for only $58 scroll down on this page

I looked on the Wal-Mart $4 drug list for you but it's not on there

My neighbor has to take an outrageously expensive drug so he gets if from Canada each month and he pays about 1/3 what he would pay in the US.

The stuff is probably $10 in Mexico. I get Retin-A in Mexico and it's $9 a tube whereas in the US it is over $100 for the same tube.
If my Mom-in-law sends it to me from France then it is $12 a tube.

I'm sorry to hear about your dilemma. Rogaine and related hair loss products can become rather costly, especially if you're still very young. I tried Rogaine but soon quit for the same reason. I couldn't imagine myself applying the ointment every day.

I got a a hair restoration surgery back in July and must admit, I'm really happy with my decision. The up-front cost is expensive, but I know that Bosley will work with you on a payment plan, as I believe other hair restoration surgeons will as well. Since I received my hair restoration back in July I've kept a blog called BattleAgainstBald.com. In addition to pictures and video of my procedures results, I provide a wealth of information on hair loss and other methods for correcting it.

Best of Luck to You!

My husband is taking it and though it hasn't helped to grow hair back, it has stopped him from losing more hair. The negative side effect is that he is starting to grow a little (very little) hair on his shoulders. We are close enough to Mexico that we just drive down and get his prescriptions there.

Just tell your doctor you don't think you can not afford it and see what he think about it
