He was sexually harrassing minors. If it were ANY other corporation there would have major trouble. He should have been charged immeadiately. Why didn't this happen?

Well duh John..I think all the proof and his resignation pretty much sealed his guilt..not to mention his public if tepid apology.

Because Mark Foley was a Red Herring...meaning he was never really the target. The real target was Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert. Illegal aliens and illegal alien support groups had targeted Dennis Hastert ever since he introduced HR 4437 and they couldn't get to him. So, if we the people did a real honest-to-goodness investigation, we believe a connection will be found between those supporting illegal immigration, Mark Foley and the timing of that release of information. Suggest you look at the Congressman whose illegal alien wife just turned herself in to authorities and then look for connections to Congressman Luis Gutierrez, Senator Barak Obama, Congressman Rahm Emanuel, Nancy Pelosi, Senator Dick Durbin, Governor Rod Blagojevich and other supporters of illegal immigration. Also the Congressman who is opposed to CINTAS enforcing the law against illegal aliens who have unmatching social security numbers (committing fraud) and who has literally threatened CINTAS with prosecution if they fire those employees should be at the top of the list. These people need to be put on an Unamerican Activities Watchlist! We need to look beyond the obvious when doing our investigations. Why now? Why not years ago? Motive, Opportunity, Timing.....

Well, first, the person he was electronically 'romancing' wasn't a minor under the age of consent. So no law was being broken. This is a critical point when being charged with a crime - you have to have broken a law.

As far as corporate v. government, they're two different things, and I've not seen much in the way of Democrats chastising other Democrats for actions they'd consider unacceptable from any other group.

It was determined no laws were broken. Just because mean spirited Liberals wanted to destroy the credibility of the Republican party, didn't mean Liberals were able to fabricate actual charges. The family that received the e mail did not claim harassment. I am sorry you want to make being Gay a crime.

Why didn't the Dems who got caught last time get any worse than him? Because politicians are all above the law in this country. Hell, Kennedy got away with MURDER. And you're worried about some guy that wanted to get it on with a legally approved 16 yr old guy? 16 IS legal in DC, you know, thanks to Liberal pressures! Or are you against Gays?

He was essentially fired, unlike Dems in similar situations who received standing ovations. I'm not aware that he broke any laws.

Foley has not been proven guilty, but he will never be tried because he is a rich republican who had a lot of power and probably has a lot of dirt on others.

Accusations do not equal guilt

As sick as he is, what he did might not constitute a crime under current law.

This is just more this clearly predictable coverup action by the current administration--don't air your dirty laundry, send it out of state.
