Those aren't too high (about 3+1/2 inches)so it should be easy to walk in. Maybe they are a bit small and too tight that is why they are uncomfortable, you usually wear flats so any heel will feel uncomfortable until you wear them on a daily basis. If there's room put in some insoles, like Dr Scholls gel insoles, walk solidly, when sitting down move your feet/ankles around

Are you kidding? That's 3 and 1/2 inches! My suggestion, cut the heels down or give them away to Salvation Army. If you felt they were "kinda tiring" listen to your body. You are obviously still young and your body should be in pretty good shape. If a pair of shoes makes you feel that way, why would you wear them? There is nothing short of not wearing them that will make them more comfortable and easier to walk in!!! You are just asking for future back, hip, leg and foot problems by wearing those things. Get rid of them now and get a nice pair of tennis shoes for school. It's not a fashion show, it's a center for learning!! Be comfortable and your brain will soak up more.

Just my two cents...

It's going to take some practice. You could put foot pads inside the boots, but I've found they only make the boot/shoe fit tighter and don't help with foot pain in the long run. Your stamina in heels gradually gets longer the more you wear them and stand/walk in them. Take it from someone who used to wear them and dance in them for 8 hour shifts! Just practice walking in them. Be careful not to put too much weight and stress on the heel. It's there to support you, but not to take all of your weight. Think about how dancers walk, with their feet pointed. You want to take a step with your foot SLIGHTLY pointed so that when your foot comes down, it isn't coming down flexed with all your weight hitting the heel, like you would if you were walking barefoot.

the key to sucessful high heel wear is to take frequent breaks...you should NOT be standing in heels for hours at a time!

put some tissues in them, and walk slowly... do not rush your self!!!! always put your weight on the toe, do not lean back on the heel... oh and avoid ice...
