I wear the slip on type shoes AKA loafers, driving shoes.They are very nice itlain hand made leather shoes and not too dressy to wear out to the store. And they're comfortable. I've just seen many gay men wearing them and already had to fight some thug lookin guy because he said my shoes were gay!!! LOL

i think its because im only 18 that my friends and others my age think its wierd or gay lookin because all they wear are nikes and basketball shoes, i mean i wear them but when i workout.I guess its just usually older men that wear them.

Lol... if you like them then wear them... I think its incredibly sexy for a man to take pride in his appearance and to be strong minded enough that fads don't luminate his decisions... it doesn't necessarily have to be "in" to look good ... who cares what they think

No, I don't think thier "gay," that's not the word I would use to describe them.
If worn the right way, they can be quite fashionable and in your situation, just think of it as very metrosexual. And if you don't know what that means, it basically means:
"...the trait of an urban male of any sexual orientation (usually heterosexual) who has a strong aesthetic sense and spends a great amount of time and money on his appearance and lifestyle... Metrosexuals often can be seen sporting the latest in men's fashion"
So wear your loafers and where them with confidence and people won't care.
...I think you should just choose your "describing" words a little more carefully as not to offend anyone; as you seem to have been "offended" yourself.
