I am very quick in making friends but in the long run I found myself falling out of the relationship

Always be there for them no matter what happens. Be there in good times and bad. Concentrate more on your friends and less on yourself. You'll know when the time comes if it's a friend you want to have for the rest of your life and then you will know what to do from there.

If you fall out of the relationship, perhaps you get bored too easily. Ask questions of your friends, learn more about them. Concentrate on THEIR feelings more and less on your own.
To have a good friend, you need to BE a good friend.

Just be the person you are and try not to pretend to be someone else. Trust and loyalty is the key. And just have fun!
