1. What players would you put at each position, including a DH?
2. Who are your top five starting pitchers?
3. Top four relievers?
4. Who manages the team?

5. Optional: What 5 non-pitchers (not in the regular lineup) would you have on the bench?
(useful if one of your favorites doesn't make first string)

The lineup below represents the total vote count. (When putting together the bench players below, I gave more importance to players selected to start over players selected for the bench).

c: Berra
1b: Gehrig
2b: Randolph
ss: Jeter
3b: Nettles
of: Ruth, Dimaggio, Mantle
dh: Jackson
sp: Ford, Guidry, Stottlemyre,
(Chesbro, Ruffing, Hoyt, Gomez, Pennock)
rp: Rivera, Gossage, Lyle, Page
manager: Stengel
bench: Dickey/Mattingly/A-Rod/Winfield/Lazzeri

(for the record, my vote would have been: Dickey (c), Lazzeri (2b), A-Rod (3b) which didn't change the totals here. My votes for the pitchers (today;-) were Hoyt/Gomez/Pennock (sp) as starters, which forced a 5-way tie for the final 2 starting spots). The next time I do something like this, I'll probably set up a remote link to a poll - probably best:-) Thanks everyone!)

I will just make it easy.....the 1960-61 Yankee team.....too many great players to pick just one......My catcher will always be Yogi........I would just add Thurman Munson and Lou Pinella as Pinch hitter or DH.....both of these buys were the best among clutch hitters......of course don' forget me in Centerfield!!
