Do you think that phone sex/sexual conversations with strangers other than your significant other is acceptible, or is this cheating?

To me, this is cheating. Just curious to know what others thought.

If you look at the definitions of cheating below, I think you will agree that yes he is cheating.

1. To deceive by trickery; swindle: cheated customers by overcharging them for purchases.
2. To deprive by trickery; defraud: cheated them of their land.
3. To mislead; fool: illusions that cheat the eye.

He is getting his needs fulfilled someplace else and not where and how he should be. He is allowing someone else into a part of his life that is supposed to be just for you, yes he is cheating, even if it is on the phone.

I think it's all fantasy, in the beginning, but can lead to actual physical contact. I would not want my man having phone sex or sexual conversations with anyone but me.

this is definately cheating and yes i feel that way and so does my husband . he and I both feel that if you talk closely with a stranger of the opposite sex it is going to lead to something to else . neither one of us talks to the opposite sex. He had alot of female friends when I first met him and at first i told him I did not know if I could handle that and he has shown me that ,that was all they were to him, was friends. We did have some problems at first my fault because i did not like one of his female friends . She did not have any boyfriends and she was always calling him to do things for her and i did not like that at all . you see i thought it would lead to something else. So do you see how it goes ? good luck and god bless and happy holidays.

I don't think it's acceptable unless both of you are sort of in to it and don't mind if the other is doing it. In my mind, it's a form of cheating and I would not like it at all if my BF was doing that. I wouldn't do it to him, either.

Yeah. this is definitly crossing the line. There is no reason to have sexual conversations or phone sex with ANYONE but your spouse, it doens't matter if they are strangers, friends, colleagues, NOTHING.
