I have collected Capcom games since the early days of the Famicom/NES, but stopped trying to keep up with them since they've just tacked their name onto just any game, these days. I have mainly been a fan of their "Street Fighter" game series, and love the "Zero" ("Alpha") series. I love how they drew the stages and composed the music for Street Fighter Zero/Alpha 2, but didn't care much for the music they used in Street Fighter Zero/Alpha 3. "Street Fighter 3" was nice too, but I didn't like how all the endings had shared the same music, like Street Fighter Zero/Alpha 3...
So WHY do we not have a "Street Fighter Zero/Alpha 4", nor a "Street Fighter 4"? I can understand why we have no more of the "versus" series games, and I WISH they'd renew the license with Marvel Comics, but Capcom has been on a donward slope, in my opinion. It's sad to see that such great games will only exist in the "back in the day" or "old school" segments of conversations now... T-T

man aint that the big question? why does capcom not make anymore SF games.... i don't know why tey stopped making them...for arcade or console... i thought it was kinda stupid when they stopped making them... i even enjoyed the marvel vs. series... and i was a fan all the way to the SVC Chaos... which i believe was trhe last to hit the arcades and then consoles... i thought that was the best out of the "vs" series... i even liked them better tnan the marvel vs. series... and then "poof" .... silence from capcom for liek the last 4-5 yrs i think it was as far as fighting games... i miss the competition... but all in all as far as the arcades the best for competition was SF Alpha 2... no game engine was more solid with the combo system ... and it was just a pure competition game... lol i rem being on machines for like hours(literally) knocking down the competition... i also have good memories of doing that with SvC Chaos as well lol.... this was what made SF so great... the competition... and real combos ... not 30-50 hit auto combos >.<;; .... maybe the trend just moved away from fighters and more towards first person shooters... too bad... it would be nice to see a new SF so i can start kickin butt in teh arcades again ... ;-)

They are busy with other projects.
Right now, the demand for a new street fighter isn't high enough to warrant the production of a new game in the series.
Currently, the market is focused on the new consoles and the possiblities that lie with them.
Sure, a new Street Fighter would be great but it's not groundbreaking and we already have tons of fighting games out there.

Man I love street fighter and I believe the original series were the best. Capcom is focussed on marketing games of different genre now. Although I did really like street fighter ex2. But in the future you never know when they might end up revealing another series.

There are some human beings doing the "Occupy" element interior the city accurate next door to mine. capture is: there is not a lot of human beings doing it because a) Illinois is already the worst stereotype of "that liberal blue state" you could imagine--Fox information can not invent worse, b) Urbana is already elementary because the "liberal sister city" to Champaign and is frequently left out besides, and c) because the interior sight police are _strange_. this is not that they are properly-armed and set off-satisfied. this is not even that they are properly-educated and specialist both. this is more advantageous subtle than that. --there is two and a 1/2 cities (Champaign, Urbana and the wee tiny village of Savoy), yet _Five_ finished-blown Police Departments a minimum of (city of Champaign, city of Urbana, Champaign County, State Police and college Police for the campus section). site visitors and parking enforcement is virtually _entirely separate_ from some thing of the PDs on the city. with the purpose to assert we've some badges round right it is a real understatement. --And...I stay in a "nice city". meaning, the police are oftentimes _much_ more advantageous probably to ensue than not if there's a very good to carry mutually or a cost tag to difficulty. As I stay and breathe their unmarried _biggest_ issues are parking and nabbing underaged drinkers. Fines and charges. human beings ought to die and if there's no money to carry mutually, the case will _sit_. --Oh, and did I element accessible is _tons_ of closed-circuit cameras everywhere, and oh yeah, virtually each and every public construction on the city has strict 0 Tolerance guidelines--in case you strengthen your voice once over _anything_ you get banned, forcibly. TL:DR version--a large number of causes why protesters can not benefit genuine traction round right here, yet somewhat a lot of surveillance, set off-satisfied _private_ safe practices and nil Tolerance guidelines, and far of truly _corrupt_ police.

There is a street fight 4. I play it at the mall every time I go. It costs 100 yen per play but, my buddy works at the arcade and we play for free all the time. Just came out like a month or two ago. But then again, I live in Japan so you probably won't hear about it for about 2 or 3 years... at least until Street Fighter 5 comes out here, in Toyko.
