Absolutely Yes, as long as the plug matches your computer. This will not work only if the ampere rating of the power cord is lower than the ampere rating of your computer. But if you say from another computer absolutely it will be ok and besides the computer ampere rating is very low and any power cord will likely work as long as the plugs matches.

If you are asking about a desktop computer, most likely yes.
(There are a few exceptions to this).. If you are asking about a laptop computer, it would depend on if it has the same connector going into the computer. :-)
