Why are do people who know little to nothing say things about mexicans?

There is always some one who blames mexicans. they say stupid things like, "the only thing mexicans do is steal our jobs!". Do you know anyone who has lost their job to a mexican? Are you aware that not everyone who looks hispanic or speaks spanish is mexican? So why do people do this?

it makes them feel better to put other people down. the difference in ethnic background is just an excuse. they will all get what's coming to them sooner or later.

It's like anything else in our history. Look back in our country's past, and you'll see racism against Italians, Irish, Native Americans, Chinese, Japanese - you know, there is a saying, "you don't stand a Chinaman's chance." - that comes from when the Chinese were working on the railroad in the 1800s out west. The Chinese were told to plant the dynamite along the area where the rail lines were to be laid. Sometimes, someone would "inadvertently" blow up the dynamite before the Chinese workers were clear of the dynamite - hence the saying.

The Japanese were placed in internment camps during WWII because - even though most of them were American citizens, they were "Japanese". In a way, Americans were like Nazis during that time.

So, you can see - if you look back through history in the United States, that at any given time, America is prejudiced against a specific race. It's just the "Hispanic's" turn - and because Hispanics have similar appearances, speak the same language, etc. - they are "Mexicans". Unfortunately, if history serves us correctly, this won't "go away" for many years - and it's just the beginning.

Speaking as a Mexican/Caucasian and I live in AZ- I'm right in the middle of it and feel it constantly - people are horrible bigots to my race and there is not reason to be---all of the Europeans that came here are the biggest alien immigrants because they stole the land from the Native Americans and slaughtered tens of thousands so they could say this is our land ..And by the way no-one wants the jobs of the "aliens" no one in America wants to work for $2-$5 dollars at the most an hour-not even homeless people

I have not got something against Cubans additionally, yet bear in suggestions the super crime wave during the late 70's & 80's. whilst President Jimmy Carter invited any Cubans that had to come back to united statesa. would desire to come. Fidel Castro opened the penal complex cells and that they got here. SCARFACE THE action picture is in line with a real character. humorous, Floridians nevertheless call Cubans----Mexicans

I like Mexicans, they're good workers. I work with immigrants, I find the mexicans in Canada are the better immigrants that can live an honest life and work harder than any other immigrants I have worked with. I think we should bring more mexican people to Canada to work than any other culture. Stop bringing the immigrants that don't work in Canada.
