i have a keypad and all of a sudden the password does not open the door.i tried taking batteries out and reseting to no avail,does anyone know if there is a code to use to reset these??

Shut the main main switch off on the electrical panel and hopefully this will reset the pad. You should be able to google the instruction manual from the manufacturer and then troubleshoot it from there

You have to press and hold certain keys down at the same time to reset. Sometimes there is a reset on the unit that you have to push with a paper clip end. If it was commonly known how to reset, anyone could get into your garage by putting it he code they wanted.
