I'm going to Vegas this coming weekend and it includes a trip to Laughlin, NV - which it's optional. I just want to know if it's worth spending 3/4 of a day at Laughlin or should I just stay in Vegas?

Unless you've never been to Las Vegas, or don't plan on coming back, I would recommend the trip to Laughlin. This is a funky little town on the banks of the Colorado River and all of the casinos are along the banks of the river (sort of like Atlantic City layout). It's about 90 miles away and you get some high desert scenery -- but if you don't like bus rides, it sounds like you're to spend most of your time on the bus and then probably hit one casino and have lunch there. The casinos don't compare to Vegas strip hotels. But, if you've seen all of the Vegas touristy stuff, this would be a good trip.

Just stay in Vegas. I would suggest going there during the summer and if your into water sports or during the Laughlin River Run Otherwise just enjoy Vegas...

If you are younger than 55, I would stay in Vegas. Don't go unless you like Desert Scenery and would enjoy the Bus ride. (I like bus rides!)

If your a younger person coming here to party, then you're gonna have a blast in Vegas.....This is a great time to come to Vegas. It's quieter than usual right now but there's still lots of people in town. The lines aren't quite as long this month, (Except at Christmas and New Years) so Enjoy yourself. Its easier to get into wherever you are going!

I have lived here for 18 years.....Have Fun!

I did that a few years ago. STAY IN VEGAS!! It's not worth it. It was a bunch of elderly people and the casinos were crappy.
