My wife is quite pretty much all the time because she knows her role and what will happen if she strays from that role but every now and then she just open's her dirty female mouth and starts talking to me for no reason. I have warned her about this... I have hit her for this...sent her to counseling. I was raised a certain way, the way things should be. I am a cop by profession. As far as Im concerned no woman should be allowed to talk without being spoken too. Its just polite. If you dont let them know who their new daddy is, they think they can open their damn mouths and say what they want. Not in my house. Any suggestions guys.

If you want to break up a marriage, you are getting a head start. A cop who hits his own wife does not deserve to be a cop or a husband and I would make an uneducated guess that you have hit and beat inmates that you have arrested as well. You say that you have sent her to counseling, have you ever decided you need counseling yourself. If I were you, I would buy her a large bouquet of red roses and do a lot of appologizing unless you really want to lose her. nough said. Have a happy holliday.

You really have some issue's. That is not how you should treat a woman. First of all, if you not happy then you need to break it off. Second of all, a woman has the right to say what ever she wants to. Third of all, I am a woman, So I know where she is coming from. Look at it from both sides, not just your side.

I am going to give you the best suggestion that anyone can give you. DUMP YOUR WOMAN so she can be happy!! Then DON'T get another woman as for no woman deserves to put up with your S**T!!!!! If you don't want a woman to talk unless spoken too then you should not have one at all. It seems to me that you have/had certain expectations of your wife, probably before you married her. Marriage is a contract of sorts, that you both agree to. In fairness to both parties of the contract, I would have suggested that YOUR non-talking requirement should have been explained, and she agreed to it, before the marriage. And HER talking requirement should have been explained, and you agreed to it, before the marriage. If that had been done and one or both of the parties violated the contract, the contract should have been dissolved. But since none of that happened, you both should renegotiate a new contract. After-the-fact, one-sided rulemaking is unfair. You both need to agree.
