Walking through the woods with a grey wolf/ feels friendly in the dream. Next part I'm running through the woods and find myself staring at the wolf hanging from a tree which then gets attacked by bees, then bats, then a smaller type of creature with long sharp claws rips it's way out of the wolf's belly. (No sugar or horror movies were watched before bed, just another normal day.)

You mentioned in a previous question that you were recently divorced. This dream could represent your "escape" from the belly of the beast, i.e. your marriage.

the woods = your social life.
Wolf = high authorities
bees, bats, smaller type of creatures = peer group
Being attacked = being criticized.

Looks like there are some issue in your social life. There are certain individuals that you do not like much. They may be the ones with high power. However, ulitmately, you got affect by peer group. Their power seems to obtained from the high authority people. It could co-worker kissing Boss's behind, Teacher favorite some student that you don't like. Projecting being attacked could mean you are being disrepect in some way. You subconsciously vent all this out about how you feel about those people

In psychology, there are many explanations for the reasons for dreams. The one that makes the most sense to me is that dreams are simply an effect of random firing of synapses in the brain. This basically means that it is possible that the brain may just throw together random thoughts or memories into a story. Although, this also means that your fears or desires can be brought up in dreams. If the dream made you realize that you feel something you didn't realize before the dream, you may want to ask yourself why you fear this or what it is you want. Otherwise, it's probably just random, and i would say brush it off.

P.S. Freud was a quack.

It sounds to me like you might feel as if your independance and strong will (wolf) is being threatened and weakened by the many weak and selfish people around you (the bats and other creatures). If not, than you probably fear that this will happen. bassically I would take it as your own warning manifested through a dream. I'd advise you to learn to reject the people that use you and bring you down... Which can be hard because you probably love them.

The wolf is often considered to be representative of a 'protector' or 'spirit guide'. Dreams often times present themselves with a reverse meaning, too. So, in line with another respondant, are you or were you responsible for protecting someone or somehow helping someone and you've turned on them? Or are you maybe dealing with spiritual issues in your life, either attacking others beliefs or are your own beliefs under attack? Has someone who you felt to be a guide or protector left your life in whatever way or perhaps failed you in some way?

Just some thoughts.

Dreams have no meaning (in the Freudian sense), they're only about something. And that can be anything you experienced any time before your dream - fully or in part and/or mixed with senseless stuff - anything goes. Don't worry about dreams. Concentrate on living your life while you're awake. Dreams hav no explanatory or predictive power whatsoever. Checkout neuroscientific explanations of dreams, forget about Freud and his mumbo-jumbo ilk.

I would do a search for defining dreams or something because sometimes there is a subconscious meaning to them that's not what you think. Check out some websites.
