Well, because of the lack of detail you've given, the only advice I can offer is to go to the support site of the company you bought the product from.

Or the other more obvious option would be to make sure all the wires are firmly conected, and that the piece connecting to the laptop itself is not damaged.

You can overcharge or fry the circuitry by keeping the laptop on and plugged in for extended periods of time. The only remedy is to purchase a new battery.

Check to see if you're laptop is still under warranty. You might have had a faulty battery - if not you'll have to get a new one. If you're still under warranty - it can be replaced free of charge.

They die out after a while. The batteries dont last forever.
