I won't use a Dirty Public restroom and I realise that I can hold my pee for hours, is that normal?

Its normal to be able to hold it for that long, but it is NOT very healthy. You can get a bladder/kidney infection, or a UTI that way. Trust me, you don't want to experience either of those...its like peeing fire! I myself, don't like to use public bathrooms either, but sometimes you just gotta bite the bullet and go. Doesn't mean you have to sit on the seat! Just squat, do your business, wash your hands, and get outta there, but if you continue to hold it you will be sorry!

It's actually NOT a wise or healthy thing to do, and can lead to some bladder problems down the road. We all have those times when we've got to "suck it up" for a couple more miles, but to hold on to a full bladder for a long time is going to end up doing you way more harm than the one minute you are going to spend in a rest room that's a little unclean. I think you are being a little bit overly paranoid about those restrooms LOL.

I can understand not wanting to use the public restrooms. They don't really bother me, but they do my best friend. She just squats over the toilet, maybe try that instead of holding it in (but make sure to wipe up the seat when your done!)

Like someone else said, you can get a Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) or bladder infection by holding it in too long or too often.

Just make sure that if you do hold it in, to let it out as soon as you can and don't just hold it in because you can :).

You might also want to add cranberry juice to your diet as cranberry juice can help with UTIs.

You may begin to get bladder infections from that. Because the bacteria will build in your bladder and urethra unless you get rid of the urine. Urine is waste. If you feel like you are full of pee, that's your body telling you to get rid of waste. There are precautions you can take, like washing your hands and putting paper on the toilet seat. Just be careful and you shouldn't get sick from the restroom.

Find a clean restroom and use it. Holding your urine for hours can cause bladder and kidney infections. But I do have to say, if you can hold it for hours, your bladder is bigger than mine.

I am the same way, but have found that this can lead to bladder infections. Those can easily be taken care of with some pills, but it can be painful.
