I like the Mary Kay brush set. It has a powder brush, blush brush, two eyeshadow brushes and a dual bush with an eyeliner on one end and an eyebrow/eyelash double sided brush on the other end. They come in a nice holder than can double as a stand for them. Also, they are guaranteed.

I have some brushes by Ulta that I bought years ago and they are the best I have ever bought. I just clean them with face cleanser regularly. You have to make sure that they are right for when you are using them for, like synthetic for liquid makeup and natural hair for powder based. I think they have a section on sephora about brushes and how to pick the right brush. It seems the cheaper brushes leave streaks or just plain hurt your skin!
Good Luck

The expensive ones... the ones that come with your makeup arent good. My friend sells Avon and says the brushes she has are really good. I personally dont know, because I dont use brushes.

I've been looking for good brushes myself, and my best friend uses MAC brushes. She says they are the best. And it's true, her eye make up is gorgeous all the time.

I prefer Bobbi Brown ones. The bare minerals brushes are good too though.

MAC Brushes are very good. They used to sell them all together and they may still do it during the holidays. As far as I know, they sell them separately. Hope this helps.

Merle Norman carries brushes made of Pony, Lamb, Sable, and other natural materials. Check out their website below. They last for years and years. Wash them with your conditioning shampoo.
