It does sound like either the clutch or acc cable.Cant think what else it could be.

it can be a pair of issues, the throttle could be sticking ie cable or the carburettor could be taking part in up the different element is to take it to a storage and have them attempt the ecu for faults as this could tell them what's incorrect.

Its more than likely the fuel/engine management computer needs reprogramming or replacing. You’ll need to take it in I’m afraid.

i own a repair shop,and it has a bad sensor on it,,that's what is causing this to happen,,you need to take it by any auto zone ,and have them scan it for you,,they can tell you which one it is,and the scan is free,also,,this is the best way to deal with it,,then this way you don't spend any un-necessary money on it,,good luck with it,i hope this help,s.,,have a good x-mas.

if you have check cable, clutch.
try checking the spring tension on the acceleration pedal.
