Nou toe nou mense bedaar julle, so lank the vraag in engels is gaan dit nie juis saak maak as dit in n ander taal be antwoord word nie, hou die blink kant bo, lekker dans julle.

Does you have a permit to have a license ek se, did gaan hulle naruurlik behoorlik deur mekaar maak , ons moet net voort aan donder de moer met hulle.

Groetnis daardie kant.

What I don't understand, is if you ask a question in english, we always get someone telling us that our grammar sucks, or our language skills are really pathetic, so what do you english/American-whatever-people want? I mean if you don't understand, why not answer someone else's question you do understand? This is the SOUTH AFRICAN catagory where people actually understand Afrikaans, so go on, report me for being straight forward!

History is written by the victors, Afrikaans is soon to be a dead language, its even outlawed in some Universities. The closest to it is Dutch.

In Britain they are trying to bring back some dead languages like Gaelic and Cornish, mainly to preserve customs.
